BREAD PUDDING 4 eggs 1/4 tsp salt 2 c milk 2 1/2 c dry bread cubes 1/3 c sugar (about 3 1/2 slices) 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 c raisins (optional) 1/2 tsp vanilla Beat together eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt. Place bread cubes in an 8x1 1/2-inch round baking dish. Sprinkle raisins over bread. Pour egg mixture over all. Bake at 325 for 40 to 45 minutes or until a knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool slightly before serving.
